Capturing images for a project, whether on film or video, requires both
an extensive technical understanding of the media, as well as an artistic visual aesthetic. As a Cinematographer,
Grip, Gaffer or Camera operator, I bring to productions a love for lighting scenes, and delivering exceptional and dynamic images
to tell the story.
The demands of lighting for Film and Video require attention to both the media, and the methods
for lighting a scene to reflect the Director's vision. On a project I bring a wide variety of tools to deliver quality
images. To capture images on camera, I have developed a variety of camera rigs and dollies that provide a wider range
of shot options for all productions, from Industrial Training to Low Budget Indies to Hollywood features.
Productions are an artistic process. However, they also require extensive planning and
organization for materials and people to successfully execute the project. From shot-list, to ordering film stock
inventories, to budgeting equipment rental, I bring to a production, planning and organization experience which both improves
the speed of the production, and can keep the cost/time manageable.
